Coronation Dawn Chorus on the King Harry Ferry

To celebrate the coronation of HM King Charles III over 100 musicians will gather to perform a specially commissioned 'Dawn Chorus' on Saturday 22nd April 2023

What to expect
A live music piece specially commissioned and composed by Gareth Churcher. As well as this, we will also sing Trelawney, Jerusalem and the national anthem. Song sheets will be available on the day should you wish to join in.
Take to the water
We’re inviting anyone with a boat to come in and join the celebrations and form a flotilla with the Fal River ferries fleet as they do a sail past at the end of the celebrations.
Location & Parking
The event will take place on the King Harry Ferry on the Feock side of the river. Parking will be available at National Trust Trelissick free of charge on the Feock side (normal charges apply from 10am)
For guests from the Roseland side, please park in an orderly fashion on the approach road to the ferry.
Guests from the Roseland side will be picked up at 07:50-am by the King Harry Ferry
This is a free event starting at 7.45 am and expected to end at approx 9:00am
