Secrets of Smuggling Cruise
8th June
Cornwall has a rich seafaring past, and we're excited to collaborate with Will from Falmouth Uncovered on a brand new 'Secrets of Smuggling' cruise. Discover how ingenious people used to be at breaking the rules — Falmouth's harbour was once the centre of a vast illegal enterprise, and smuggling was very blatant - if there was money in it, people smuggled it. Many gallons of French Cognac, rum and gin have been brought ashore in this area. There may even be some on board for the cruise!
