Experience the magic of the Fal River for FREE Saturday, 8th February, as the St Mawes Ferry opens its doors for a special charity day supporting Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.
Travel between historic Falmouth and the old-world fishing village of St Mawes while discovering the natural beauty of the Fal Estuary. Every sailing throughout the day will be completely FREE, giving local residents the perfect opportunity to experience one of Cornwall's most scenic ferry trips.
Meet the Heroes of Cornwall's Skies
The Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust team will be on board during the day, sharing inspiring stories from their vital life-saving service. Since launching as the UK's first air ambulance in 1987, they have completed over 32,000 missions, providing critical emergency care across Cornwall's remote beaches, rural communities, and challenging terrain. Your journey on the ferry is free, but we encourage you to donate to the Cornwall Air Ambulance if you can.

The St Mawes Ferry operates daily all year-round, offering more than just a ferry link – it's a chance to embrace the well-being benefits of being on the water. The 20-minute crossing provides stunning views of Falmouth Harbour, Pendennis Castle, and St Mawes Castle, making every journey a unique experience, we also get regular visits from Dolphins in the winter months.
