The stunning new woodland walk has now opened!
Philleigh, Cornwall - A stunning new woodland walk has opened in the heart of the Roseland Peninsula, inviting visitors to explore the natural beauty of Philleigh and its surrounding landscape. The Philleigh Way Wood Walk offers a tranquil escape into nature, providing free public access to a carefully maintained network of paths through picturesque woodlands along the upper reaches of the Fal estuary.
Located at Court Farm, the walk has been designed to celebrate the area’s biodiversity. Supported by funding from Cornwall Council’s Good Growth Community Fund, Forest Cornwall, Farming in Protected Landscapes, and the England Woodland Creation Offer, the project reflects a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and public access.
“We’re excited to welcome visitors to experience the peace and beauty of the Philleigh Way Wood Walk,” said Amie Pascoe, owner of Court Farm.
“This has been a labour of love, and we’re proud to offer a space where people can connect with nature, enjoy leisurely walks, and appreciate the stunning Cornish countryside.”
The walk is easily accessible, with a newly established car park providing a convenient starting point. The three trails are varying lengths suitable for short strolls or longer hikes and a hide with views out over the estuary provides a tranquil spot to enjoy the birdlife. Philleigh Way Wood presents a new opportunity for families, nature enthusiasts, and visitors exploring the Roseland Peninsula.
