King Harry Ferry Selects the Invictus Trust as their Charity of the Year
King Harry Ferry's staff and crew have chosen the Invictus Trust as their 2025 Charity of the Year, continuing their tradition of supporting vital local causes that make a real difference in Cornwall.
This partnership will support the Trust's crucial work in youth mental health by donating all pedestrian fare revenue throughout 2025. The collaboration reflects King Harry Ferry's deep commitment to strengthening their local community and creating positive change where it matters most.
Garrick Royle, Managing Director of King Harry Ferry, says:
"The Invictus Trust's work in supporting young people's mental health is absolutely vital for Cornwall. By partnering with them, we can help ensure more young people get the support they need, when they need it most. Every pedestrian crossing will directly contribute to this essential cause."
About The Invictus Trust
Founded in January 2011, The Invictus Trust honors the memory of Ben Cowburn, a vibrant young man whose life was cut short by mental health challenges. The Cowburn family established this Cornwall-based charity with a clear mission: to transform youth mental health services in Cornwall.
The Trust focuses on three key areas:
- Raising awareness of adolescent mental health
- Providing guidance and support to struggling young people
- Advocating for improved mental health services across Cornwall
In January 2023, the Trust launched Invictus Trust Clear Counselling in Truro, offering free, accessible mental health support for 11-21 year olds and their families. This service represents a significant step forward in meeting the growing need for youth mental health support in Cornwall.
