King Harry Ferry Staff Raise Over £2,400 for Children's Hospice
4 February
The staff and crew of Cornwall's iconic King Harry Ferry have demonstrated their community spirit once again by raising £2,420 for Little Harbour, Children's Hospice South West, their chosen charity for 2024.
This vital sum was collected through passenger fares throughout the year, reflecting the ferry service's innovative approach to fundraising. Little Harbour, which provides essential care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West, was carefully selected by the ferry team for its profound local impact.
Garrick Royle, Managing Director of King Harry Ferry, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership:
"We are happy to support Children's Hospice South West in their remarkable work. This partnership is a testament to our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need in our area."
The initiative continues King Harry Ferry's tradition of supporting local causes, with the team selecting a new charity or appeal each year that resonates with their values and community focus.
