Shell Seekers Painting Workshop with Lucy Innes Williams

13 August 2019

Turn your foraged shells, seaweed and sea glass into a framed, pattern-led painting, ready to take away and hang in your home.

Join this creative workshop and play with brightly coloured-paints, experiment with developing your own folk-art style and put together a painting centred around your foraged collection of shells, seaweed and coastal wildflowers.

Local beaches are a primary source of inspiration for artist, Lucy Innes Williams, whose exhibition, Periwinkle will be on show at Huddle, Falmouth between 1st - 27th August.Collecting shells, seaweed and sea glass feed directly into her work which will be a jumping off point for the workshop's activities.

All materials and refreshments provided. Just bring your foraged shells and seaweed!Tip: Local beaches with plentiful interesting seaweed and rockpools include Maenporth Beach, Swanpool Beach and Durgan Beach, all situated along the beautiful South West Coastpath.
