Scandinavian Cooking at Philleigh Way
18 March 2022
Scandinavia, envy of the rest of the world. This is no coincidence
Nordic countries rank so high on the happiness report because they have things like free education and healthcare and low crime rates. But there is something else…. FOOD!
Whether it’s the famous meatballs, pickled herrings. selmor buns or fika they know how to enjoy and get the most out of the food chain. But Cornwall and the Scandinavian’s food culture has more in common than you would first think… great fish, abundance of in season vegetables, superb game and cinnamon bun followers! Using fire cooking techniques from Bergen or fantastic baking techniques from Copenhagen this is a food lovers dream day.
So on this course it’s all about utilising ingredients like our Swedish et al compatriots. If you fancy a trip downs the fjords but can’t get away come and join us at Philleigh Way.
