The Coastguard's Daughter
2 November
National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Falmouth
Canvas Theatre weaves storytelling and shanty singing to tell a riveting true tale about life during WW1 on the Cornish coast
This Autumn, a riveting piece of original lyrical theatre, interweaved with live shanty singing and hymns of the sea will tour coastal communities in Cornwall. Presented by Canvas Theatre, The Coastguard’s Daughter tells the true and almost forgotten tale of a Cornish community reacting to the perils and difficulties of war.
The NMMC performance will feature Femmes de le Mer an all female sea shanty group.
Malpas Fireworks Night
4 November
The Heron Inn will be hosting the annual Malpas Fireworks Night. Back again for 2017, the show is set to be bigger and better than before, with the scheduled set off time of 6:30pm. This is an event not to be missed be sure to put the date in your diary and head up to Malpas for the best fireworks in town.
Chef Night Experience at The Idle Rocks
11 November
This month The Idle Rocks will be hosting the Chef Night Experience. 3 of the country's top Michelin star Chefs will join forces with The Idle Rocks head chef Guy Owen and his team for one special night. Guests will enjoy an eight course-tasting menu, with each chef presenting two dishes throughout the evening. All courses will incorporate the very best of local and seasonal ingredients, with each chef showcasing their culinary excellence from their region.

Outlaw 2017
11 & 12 November
Over two days, Outlaw 2017 will showcase 70+ independent creative designers, makers and producers selling a wondrous array of fabulous stuff, at Penryn Campus. Outlaw are also celebrating emerging talent by dedicating space to new fledgling creative businesses. This is the perfect place to start some serious Christmas planning and shopping. It’s going to be an exciting weekend.
Weber Winter Warmer Course

Follies LIVE at Hidden Cinema
16 November
As part of their new 'Live Arts' season, St Mawes Hotel are broadcasting live art performances direct from the world famous Royal Opera House and The National Theatre in London. This month, Stephen Sondheim’s legendary musical Follies is staged for the first time at the National Theatre and will be broadcast live into the luxury hidden cinema.
Tattoo Flash Day at National Maritime Museumn Cornwall
17 November
Tattoo Artists Olly Streeter Dan Hague and Matt Crandon will all be tattooing live at the museum all day. Designs are inspired by original flash featured in NMMC's groundbreaking and award winning exhibition British Tattoo Art Revealed - The Museum will be opening late with live music, bar, free rum cocktail on arrival and live tattooing.
Truro City of Lights

The hugely anticipated Truro City of Lights Festival and Parade lights up the city in in spectacular fashion delighting the crowds who gather for this spectacular festive event.
